We are a husband and wife team that love capturing the essence of life. Both of us share a common passion for creativity that is realized in our photography.

Stephen is originally from Indiana though he has traveled the USA and lived in New Jersey as well as the great state of Tennessee. He has always enjoyed photography as well as fine and graphic arts and expressed himself through the camera lens. Before moving to the St. Louis area, he worked with a full time Portrait and Wedding photographer in Indiana. He has working knowledge of Ambient and Strobe lighting and Medium Format Cameras such as the Mamiya RZ, RB and Hasselblad 501C. Our business went to Digital Photography in 2005 where Stephen helps with the technical aspects of the business with a keen eye for detail. Stephen also works for a state of the art St. Louis printing company running a HP Indigo Digital Press and has 27 years of experience in the printing industry. Stephen enjoys spending time with his family and is involved with Animal Rescue groups in the area.


Melissa owns and manages Hane Photography and is one of the creative minds behind the camera lens. She is from Illinois and is a RN First Assistant in the operating room with a BSN from Maryville University. Her passion along with photography is helping with animal rescue groups and finding forever homes for many animals in need.
Melissa brings a wealth of creativity and style to our business that shows in everything that we do. From her film days shooting with her Canon AE-1 to the present, she is gifted at capturing the decisive image of the moment. Her energetic and stylized approach to creating Fine Art Photography knows no conventional boundaries. Melissa enjoys spending quality time with her family as well as her rescue dogs and cats.
Together with Stephen, she is part of a dynamic team that is ready to serve your photographic and creative ideas.
